THE STARLIGHT BALLROOM

THE TUDOR BALLROOM
The Tudor Ballroom, timeless and sophisticated, holds a refined kind of preserved beauty. Follow the wood detail up to the second story balcony that overlooks the main floor for more room to dine and entertain guests. The room’s centerpiece is undoubtedly the two-story stained glass mural crafted by the well-known artist, Ronald Neill Dixon. Beyond description, The Tudor Ballroom must be seen to be fully appreciated.
THE PRESIDENT’S BALLROOM
The entirety of The Presidents’ Ballroom, from floor to ceiling, radiates elegance. Serving as a focal point in the space, the marble fireplace is surrounded by glass library cabinets and rich oak paneling inset with carved historic crests. The room’s warm and intimate atmosphere is enhanced by a detailed plaster ceiling and aged Oak floor. The charm of this room lends itself to unique ceremonies and unforgettable receptions.
THE LIBRARY ROOM
The Library Room is adorned with stately elegance. Upon entering, one is immediately drawn to the dramatic domed ceiling that is framed by omate plaster-relief. Warmly lit by a single brass pendant fixture, each ceiling section adds its own richness to the room’s feel. Pillars decorated with brass sconces anchor the refined room by supporting the space and tying to the domed ceiling.
THE GRILL ROOM
The Grill Room, perhaps the historic building’s most unique space, is designed in the Arts and Crafts style, curated perfectly for an intimate gathering. Lit by original milk glass windows and rustic chandeliers, the room features tiled floors and walls, detailed arched ceiling designs and hand-painted murals throughout. The Grill room presence is not only unique to the building, but lends itself to be one of the most eclectic event spaces in all of historic downtown Kansas City.
THE 822 CLUB BOARDROOM
Named after its room number, the “822 Club” was founded in 1925 to dodge prohibition laws in friendly surroundings. In the spirit of preserving the old and trailblazing the new, this boardroom provides traditional executive spaces and offers an entrepreneurial atmosphere for smaller groups to gather.
